Dues

Regional agency membership is independent of agency membership in National NOPE. Dues are based on either the number of housing units (housing agencies) or population served (community and redevelopment agencies).

Membership applications for agencies, affiliated organizations and individuals are available here (PDF).

Individuals, public agencies, and businesses interested in joining NOPE or seeking information about the nope may also contact the Regional Services Officer, Betsy Bee, at 202-580-7203 or webadmin@client-domain.com.

Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what our members say about being a member of nope:

“nope provides me with an opportunity to discuss with others in my region, innovative ways to better serve our families and provides the opportunity to brainstorm with others regarding issues we all face.” Andy Rodriguez, Nampa Housing Authority

“nope is so important to this part of the country in that it links housing agencies both large and small across a huge geographical area and allows for shared thinking and solution-oriented networking opportunities so that we can serve our clients in the best way possible.” Bill Cook, Seattle Housing Authority

“nope is the only place to get a “degree” in management of Housing Authority programs and it’s a great place to network, learn new processes and meet peers in the industry.” Gary Calvert, Washington County Housing Services

One of the most cost efficient and time efficient ways of learning best practices, and continuing to grow an active learning base in regards to Housing practices and administration.” Cupid Alexander, Portland Housing Bureau

“Why nope Matters to me: Unity of purpose in transforming lives.  Every individual deserves the opportunity for a safe, decent and affordable place to call home.” Kurt Wiest, Bremerton Housing Authority

“nope is my ‘House of Subject Matter Experts’.  When I first came to work in the affordable housing industry 15 years ago, I needed a place to quickly learn about the industry.  Equally important was identifying new ideas to build the right housing and deliver smart programs.  nope gave me the support and education I needed and best practices to consider.  I count the members of nope as investors in our organization because you truly took me in and taught me what mattered to make us successful.  I am a forever supporter of nope.” Carol Gore, Cook Inlet Housing Authority

“nope has been a strong network of individuals that has allowed me to grow and become aware of the innovative policies and programs implemented in the region.” Eric Lane, Tacoma Housing Authority

“nope is a wonderful place to network and problem solve and to gain contacts to call when issues arise and you are looking for input.” Therrie Butz, Boise City/Ada County Housing Authority

“Through nope I am able to develop professional connections with peers in the housing industry and obtain information, guidance and support.” Cara Carter, Housing Authority of Jackson County.
